People who have crashed into my car, but may be very afraid of theft because not only did they not use the GPS they were relying on in the front seat, but they left all their stuff behind (like money in my drawer). They gave me broken windows, 2 broken car doors and a car handle.
Rather than spend several hundred dollars at a mechanic, I decided to check the internet to see if people had posted videos or tips on how to fix the crack. I had previously had to replace an interior car door (yes, my old car) while watching YouTube videos, so I thought there should be someone out there who could go through the same situation as me and be kind enough to expand on them. separate their car doors from theirs.

Of course I found a lot of help online and ordered new windows, doors and 2 door locks. Here are the videos and tips I mentioned:

To begin removing the panel, first remove the armrest. I used a flat head screwdriver, pushed it between the chair door and the panel and pulled it out. There are 2 screws in the armrest that you need to remove.
For the door handle, unscrew the screw holder in place and using the handle, pull all the means on the left side to loosen the handle. Pull the entire handle (and frame) out by pulling the handle toward you, then pull it to the right once more to pull it out completely. There is a rod attached to the handle (you will see it after you pull out the handle and its shaft), I prefer not to remove the rod from the handle as it has a slight impact on the back behind.
The manual window crank is held to the door panel by a clip. Make sure the edge of the piston is turned upside down (that is when the crank handle is turned upside down or down). You can check the direction the plunger is facing by pulling the lever as far away from the door as possible (no cracks) and you should be able to see the rounded edges. If you don’t then you need to turn the crank arm the other way because the balance of the clutch will turn the other way.
Once you have determined that the clutch is in good position, apply a piece of jimmy cloth to the door and handle. Holding onto both edges of the dish towel, I pull forward. At the same time, I pull one side of the bowl higher to dislodge one side of the bracket from its hole in the window handle. You should see the clip appear. The lever should disengage immediately after you remove the piston.
How To Fix A Broken Car Door Lock
This is what the clip looks like when it is glued into the window handle. All you have to do is pull one side of the piston out of the hole and the crank will come out.
This is what the inside of the door looks like without the panel. To remove the panel, use a Philips screwdriver to loosen the plastic screw near the edge of the door. Then use a flathead screw to help pry the panel off, or you can pry it off with your hands. I had to move the inner door through the hole in the panel because I didn’t want to remove it completely.
This is the inside of the door. To remove the door handle, you need to remove 2 10mm screws from the top of the handle (one is shown here, the other is covered by a rod).
You will also need to remove the 2 connecting rods on the lever (one is pictured, the other is lying on the left because it needs to be attached to a broken car lock). To remove the rod, you must first bring the plastic clip (usually yellow or white) that covers the rod and pull it out of the same plastic cap. In the picture I was wearing a plastic rod clip attached to the door handle. You just need to pull the rod out of the plastic cap to remove it completely.

Before putting the handle back into the door, first screw it into the car lock. On the left side of the handle there is a 10mm screw that secures the lock to the handle itself.
To insert the handle into the door, first insert the spring (top) of the handle into the hole before screwing the rest of the handle into the door.
Then you can put it back in by inserting the return bars and screws into the 10mm screws. Be careful not to put screws or tools in the door as they are difficult to store.
The window handle is easier to put back than to remove. Just insert the clip into the handle (as pictured above) and push the handle over the door. Check that the lever is working and is locked in place.
How To Fix A Car Door That Does Not Close
To break, gently slide the panel over the door on the inside latch and press the inside handle through the hole. To get the panel back into the door, I just pushed the panel back into place (you should hear more of a pop).
Finally, to put the inner door back on, open the right one first (I usually hold the handle when I do this), then open the left one inward. Fix the door handle and door hole and screw the door handle.
The next part will be about fixing the windows, although I will have less pictures because I forgot to take pictures in different ways.
However, I hope this publication will be an encouragement to anyone who refuses to fix one of their own. It’s actually easier than you think. It also costs part of the repair costs. And even though it took me 2 mornings to finish everything because the doorknob didn’t come the first morning, it wouldn’t have taken as long as you thought. As weird as it sounds, I also think it has more to do with my car after I take it apart and put it back together. I never thought this would happen to us. Not in our community … not in the parking lot. We live in a quiet place, which I have found safe for the last 2.5 years. Actual violence is not a problem here, especially not for us. We even stopped at various sidewalk and house intersections where there was a lot of traffic. When we were working on the car, someone from the apartment would watch over us, just as we were thinking of stealing our car. So we think we are safe.

Then one morning, while I was walking the dogs, JR pulled me out of the car as if he had heard something. I don’t want any of that. Shortly after an hour later, when S.O. he came with me walking the dogs, every day he managed to see our car as we passed. Something is wrong. He is right. Our locks were down to the ground. The car was locked and everything was looted. Our books and even our tire pressure gauge were stolen. However, they leave the quarters.
We are in a state of despair. It’s never happened to us before and we don’t know what to do. Do we touch the car or leave it and call the police? What are we going to do? It was a very cold day and honestly, we were confused. In a place like this, why can’t anyone see this? Can this be prevented?
Our car really wanted to get broken down and dirty and it felt weird even sitting in it. I know it sounds different, but the car is SO sweet and I feel more pain and frustration than the shock and anger I’ve already heard. We never keep important things in the car, thankfully, but how do they feel? Why do we drive of all cars wholesale? The whole reason we get stick is because it’s so hard to steal. However, at the same time we were glad that they were minimal, they couldn’t steal the car.
