Nothing stands up like the feeling you get when you ride a bike, start the engine and make it a few turns … just to notice that something is weird when you try to pull it out. Yes, you have a flat tire. No matter how it spoils the whole day, thankfully, dealing with it is pretty quick and easy. Here’s how to permanently repair a motorcycle tire with the Dynaplug tire repair kit. let’s get started!
Note – this tire method is only fixed for speeds up to 90 km / h (according to UTAC) when punctured by a sharp object with a diameter of 16 pence (about 4.2 mm). For reference, about 97.5% of crown punctures in automatic tires are made with items 4.6 mm in diameter (approximately 3/16 inch) or less. But it’s still better than most other repair kits.

There’s nothing like a shiny little roof screw to knock down your afternoon trip. Fortunately, we can quickly repair it with an inexpensive tire repair kit.
Motorcycle Tire Repair: 3 Ways To Fix A Flat
The average U.S. driver gets an apartment every 14,636 miles. So it’s not about what will happen, but about when it will happen. But don’t worry – as long as you plan this in advance, it shouldn’t stop you too long.
Hopefully you’ll notice this before you get on your bike and start riding. If you’ve ever ridden a motorcycle with a flat tire, it’s an experience you’ll never forget – it’s like riding an iceberg when your back slides everywhere. At least that’s something you can’t ignore. On the other hand, if failure says your front tire with a makeshift hole of fame … then you’ll probably have a bad accident story to tell about the bar.
For obvious reasons, if the puncture really caught you while driving, you’ll want to stop as soon as possible. Don’t wait for the next exit, especially the next refueling. If necessary, stop right at the curb. Even if you only have a suspicion of a missed tire. And don’t press hard on the brakes – it’s a great way to turn an apartment into an accident. Just release the throttle, pull out the clutch and gently roll until it stops as smoothly as possible.
Depending on your motorcycle, storage space, previous experience and preferences, there are many different ways to assemble a tubeless tire repair kit.
How To Repair A Motorcycle Flat Tire On The Trail
I use the Dynaplug repair kit for tubeless tires. There are several models, but they are all very similar. Given that it doesn’t run out, you’re guaranteed to need it eventually, and single use pays off; This is not easy even for premium models.
The main options for connecting motorcycle tires are the economical Dynaplug Carbon Ultralite (if you want only the cheapest that fits), Dynaplug Ultralite if you want a model with an aluminum body, and Dynaplug Pro, which includes more plugs for repair, air plug , bumper and chassis. Each one is good for your taste. I usually buy Pro for my daily drivers and Ultralite for family cars.
The main advantage of this set of plug-ins compared to others is that it is the usual repair of small punctures in tubeless tires (both cars and motorcycles). Other benefits are that it is very compact, making it ideal for a reduced storage space for a motorcycle.
While you play with success if you don’t carry a tire repair kit with you, it’s really nonsense if you don’t have at least quality tools. You will use pliers and a knife more often than ever needed to repair a missed tire.
How To Permanently Repair A Flat Tubeless Motorcycle Tire
Above you will see in the picture Leatherman Signal, which I ride on my bike, although no less good (cheaper) option that I can recommend – this is Leatherman Rev. All is well as long as he has a sharp blade, lots of pliers and strong jaws.
One of the advantages of such a pump / hand pump 2 in 1 CO2 is that it gives you more options when you run out of CO2. It may take an eternity, but hey, at least it’s possible.
Will not help you repair your apartment if you still need to order a tow truck because there is no air pressure.
Unfortunately, in most sports bikes an air compressor is unlikely to work. Instead, the two best options are a CO2 tire inflator and some CO2 cartridges, or a 2-in-1 CO2 CO2 inflator / pump. For reference you will need about 6 cartridges of CO2 of 16 g to fill a completely empty tire up to 30 PSI. However, if the tire is not completely deflated, much less will suffice. And anyway, you don’t need 30 PSI to just slowly drive to the nearest gas station. None of the options are perfect, but one will allow you to get the job done quickly.

Of course, if you have room for compact tire inflation, this is definitely the most preferred option. Either way, you want to choose one for your evaluation.
Notes. CO2 cartridges have one obvious advantage over small electric tire inflations. CO2 pumps are much more able to return the tire bead if it is somehow lowered during gas pressure. This is unlikely, but certainly not impossible and worth remembering.
In addition to Dynaplug, you can consider several other options for emergency tire repair. Personally, I believe that their disadvantages outweigh their advantages, but you can judge.
For one thing, we have a classic tire kit. Although they are cheap for dirt and are everywhere, there are some problems with them. They are never considered permanent repairs, require rubber cement (which can dry out before use), usually require a tire cut (which can damage the tubeless tire belt) and are difficult to apply.

The second option – a mushroom cap for the tire. This is certainly interesting, but repairs are damage or a mistake, it is never permanent, and it also requires drilling tires. They can be weird if they include self-loading sockets, but this is usually not the case. Also, you need a rigorous tool to insert them that is prone to trouble. Overall, this is a good option, but it can be improved.
Error. I don’t know what more advocates, is it sealing tires. The worst part? It’s not even reliable. Half the time it won’t save you from a trip to the mechanic and from the awkwardness of explaining why the new tire has such a name. Not to mention you
Pay extra for the right to get a mechanic to scrape off all the flux from his expensive tire replacement tool. Just don’t do that.
In this case, the search did not take long, but you may not be so lucky. Listen to any confirmations. If this is not enough, rinse it with soapy water – in time it will appear. Once this happens, mark the hole with a store pencil.

Note that this is strange, but often more than one puncture. Be sure to check the tire completely. If Jose’s toolbox falls off a truck on the road from Home Depot, such things can happen.
It should also be noted that the farther from the center line the prick, the more dangerous the repair. Given the amount of heat and flexibility that tire edges can experience, this may be beyond what can fix your average motorcycle tire repair kit. In case of doubt, always secure the tire from the inside with a suitable fungal plug.
Do it yourself, it was written with tubeless tires in mind, as in most modern sports and touring bikes. If you have a tubular tire – often it can be identified by the frames with spokes – then a completely different process. In this case, you will need a tire repair kit specifically for tubular tires – usually consisting of patches. You will also need to remove the rim for repairs.
If you caught a leak before the pressure dropped to zero, leave the item in place. This makes it easier to plug the tire later.

However, if you make sure the tire is completely empty, you can pull it out. I know how satisfying it is. Feel free to spoil it with extreme superstitions so that it never brings anyone into the apartment again.
Surprising remark – did you know that during the rain there is a high probability of tire punctures? This is probably because water lubricates the waste and makes it easier to penetrate the rubber surface. Take the summit here for a quick demonstration. Who could have guessed? I guess that’s a big reason to pack a poncho with a set of tires.
The vast majority of my rear compartment is full of emergency equipment for such a situation. This includes – you guessed it – a tire repair kit, an air pump, a CO2 tank, a flashlight, a protective vest and a few other goodies.
I hope you will always have a tire repair kit with you wherever you ride your motorcycle. I know that. If not, look again
