Everyone loves Beats by Dr Dre, elegant and brilliant headphones. Unfortunately, they are not very durable and if they fall or fall too hard, the ear cups can be released from the headband. I Recently Dropped My Beats Studio 3. Every Time I Stretch Them The Bottom Left Part Go Out And It Looks Weird. Anyone Know A Fix??
It’s all in the video, but because videos can have intense bandwidth and use your data sharing, I will summarize them all here in images and text.
My Beats headphones fell back a while ago and the right headphone detached from the headband. As it turns out, the ear cup is held by only two small plastic buttons on which the ear cup is cut and now they were broken. I tried to glue the plastic buttons, but it did not work. The surface was too small for the adhesive to stick. I solved the problem by drilling holes in the outside of the headband and inserting two screws through it and into the headphones. Sounds a little harsh, but it worked really well. The plastic handles, the ones that came off, initially caused the headset to rotate, and if you do not fully tighten the screws, they will rotate as well. I put the headphones back on, but soon discovered that the sound was coming only from my left ear. The wire that went to the right headset had been released into the right headset and I would have to open the item to fix it again. To disassemble the earphone, you must first remove the foam headphones. Next, use a thin screwdriver and wipe the earphone. It’s not that hard to do, and I did it without breaking anything. Then disconnect the soldering iron and reconnect the speaker. Then put them all back together.
I know, the last thing you want to do is drill holes in your beautiful Beats headphones, but it’s necessary. The picture shows where to drill. You want to drill exactly where the little plastic buttons were, the ones that originally held the headset. To do this, be sure to shave / detach one of the remaining buttons and pierce it from the inside. The best way is to roll the plastic circle with the B mark on it until the inside comes out and then use a drill press. Get one to help you do this part. The holes should be large enough for the screws you have chosen to slip
