At Done For You Tax, we exclusively hire computer programmers, and we’re currently seeking a motivated programmer to join our team as a Remote Technical Support Representative. This role, which you can perform entirely from the comfort of your home, involves talking to clients over the phone, reviewing their bookkeeping with them, and assisting them in navigating our site’s software.
Our company was founded by a technical expert with a PhD in computer science, and I can confidently say that I enjoy being an accountant even more than programming. We believe that individuals with any level of programming experience are uniquely positioned to excel in this role. If you’ve done any programming at all, this could be the perfect opportunity for you—no extensive experience is required.
Two of our current support representatives have backgrounds in computer science and have found rewarding careers with us. One of them, who previously worked at Amazon, has excelled in his role and is thrilled with his position here. Another, who majored in computer science and struggled to find a job for two years, has not only mastered bookkeeping but has also advanced significantly in his career. Both started at $20/hr and are now at $30/hr. We’re confident that you could follow a similar path.

This position involves a lot of communication, so we’re looking for someone who enjoys talking to people on the phone. You’ll be working with very small business owners, helping them access reasonably priced accounting services that they need the most.
