This is what is commonly called resin smile and it affects a large number of people. Now, although sometimes a complex smile appears less over the years, some people continue to see it.
If you are suppressing a sad smile, it may be good to know your options for changing it, and if you decide to go that route you have some options.
How To Fix Your Smile
Previously, cosmetic periodontal surgery was the most common way to correct a smile. During this operation, the gum tissue is slightly cut to reveal the upper teeth, allowing the teeth to lengthen themselves more effectively. This works best if your teeth already look small, as this procedure helps reduce the amount of gums and makes your teeth look longer because they are covered by less tissue. This is a very complicated process.
The Benefits Of Adult Braces And How They Can Fix Your Smile
If your gum smile is caused by an upper jaw that is too long forward or too low, you may have upper jaw surgery. The jaw is raised, which then fixes the gum smile. It is also a very aggressive operation and is not without its disadvantages.
Botox for a sad smile? You heard right. If your gum smile is caused by a lip that moves too far north, exposing most of your gums, Botox in this area can help relax those muscles and not shrink too much. Your lips are actually a little lower, so the big gums are covered with a smile.
This should be done by an experienced dentist, as most people who take Botox have no experience with this substance for this type of treatment.
Botox can be an ideal treatment for many patients, and it is not as aggressive as other treatments, not as expensive, and the results can be achieved quite quickly.

The first step in healing my smile was bleaching! I was at the dentist and there were whitening trays. I whitened my teeth at home for a year and closed it. It will take me a while to get enough money to repair my teeth. So I didn’t constantly bleach them. Because the bleaching process is so slow, sometimes it didn’t work for me. Now I see that it definitely was.
My teeth were whitened to my (almost) liking. I always thought my teeth might be white, so I finally had to stop. Also, I was really ready to fix my teeth. I went to various dental offices to get advice on prices and what to do. (Side note: The little tooth you see on the left is an autumn tooth. There was no permanent tooth beneath it. Eventually my autumn tooth fell out and I wanted to be in front of it. Without a few days or weeks. Follow the teeth …)
How To Fix A Gummy Smile
I found a dentist in my price range that I was happy with. I was put on a bridge and veneer. The first step was to grind the three teeth and pull out the deciduous teeth. I was in the dental office for about 3 hours. They made all kinds of molds, and they had to numb my face 30 times. Then I got a temporary bridge and veneer until my permanent one was established and my gums healed a little. For less than two weeks, I have been seeing teeth that look like this.
They were very yellow and would be smaller than my teeth so I wouldn’t break them. I couldn’t even bite. Then in two weeks I got my bridge and veneer. I had to wear it for a few days with temporary glue instead of permanent cement.
As you can see, my new teeth are much whiter than the other teeth because the glue has made them look especially white. It takes a while for my gums to heal, from the removal of the fake gum to the new one. I don’t really take a lot of pictures these days, so I had to zoom in too close (so it’s blurry, lol).
Now I am very happy and love my smile. I want to be able to fix it quickly. Here is a small comparison between before and after.

If you feel that when you smile, your gums appear dramatically, then you may already have a condition known as “gum smile”. It can happen for many reasons, and it can be solved in many ways, temporarily and permanently.
You can tell if you have a gum smile with your naked eye, but the true characteristic of a gum smile is that it occurs when more than 4 millimeters of gum tissue is visible when you smile.

If you think you have a smile on your gums, it is best to see your dentist who can take X-rays and do some tests to determine which type of treatment is right for you. Before you have a smile on your face.
If your teeth erupt over time, your upper teeth will try to retain the correct teeth, others will break, or some people’s teeth may break naturally.
Another problem can be if the upper teeth erupt too far forward for the lower teeth. Instead of touching, they bypass each other and explode too far away.
In each of these scenarios, as the teeth go down, the gums also go down because they are attached to the teeth, making the teeth appear shorter and the gums longer.

If you do not breathe or take any medicine or do not commit to brushing your teeth then gums may grow on your teeth. This shows that most of the teeth are still hidden under the gums.
Hypermobility, or lip hyperactivity, occurs when the muscles around the lips are very strong, pull the lips upwards and smile more than usual, increasing the exposure of the gum tissue.
Normally the lips move from the resting position to the full smile position of 6 to 8 millimeters, but very active lips move forward.
Another problem with the lips is that the lips are very small because a large number of gums are visible even when the jaws and teeth are proportional to each other.

The most common reason for a gum smile is that the upper jaw is too long, given the size of the face and the lip tissue available to cover the gums, so there is a large amount of gum tissue on either side of the teeth.
After the dentist has determined the cause of the gum smile (which can be a number of common causes), the dentist may recommend an appropriate treatment to heal the gums and restore the beautiful smile to the teeth. Treatment methods vary in cost, duration of treatment
